The Roma Fashion initative is demonstration of talent and creativity, with the support of a pool of professionals in the field of design, fashion and visual arts. It presents the beauty and dignity of Roma culture through a unique and emotionally expressive performance. The performance is exhibition of authentic Roma women clothes from all over the world, as well as their contemporary interpretation, accompanied by the voices of international Roma music and poetry. The idea is an expression of our wish for a new way of communication in the context of contemporary society and our search for constructive and creative means of presentation of the theme of cultural diversity in Bulgaria. This is an authentic presentation of the intransient and fascinating aspects of Roma culture that sends a message of dignified presence and belonging. It is organized and implemented by an artistic group composed of people of different age, professions and different ethnic background, untied by the passion for development and expression of the creative potential in Bulgarian society.
